The Boleyn Ground, often referred to as Upton Park, was a football stadium located in Upton Park, east London. From 1904 to 2016, it was the home of West Ham United. The club previously relocated from the Memorial Grounds, with the forerunner Thames Ironworks playing their home matches at Hermit Road.The stadium was also briefly used in the early 1990s by Charlton Athletic during their years of financial difficulty.
